There’s something truly delightful in rediscovering a classic
jewel.
In some cases, it’s simply a case of dusting it off and
polishing it up. Such is the case with Camden’s historic Louise
C. Proctor Hall.
Proctor Hall, with its elegant lines and layout and rich,
storied history, is one of the most beautiful and grand
properties in Camden. Built in 1823 and named “The Cedars,”
the hall was a well-known centerpiece of the Camden social
scene for many years.
Unfortunately there was a time in its fairly recent history
when the “grand old dame” was getting a little down at the
heels.
