The new Classic Center Arena will anchor
an ecosystem of entertainment.
A
new entertainment ecosystem is expanding The Classic Center on North
Thomas Street near UGA’s North Campus. Imagine innovative spaces
for concerts, sporting events, family shows, and conventions, a home
for the Georgia Music Hall of Fame and large-scale outdoor public art.
When opened, it will amplify the Athens cultural vibe and offer walkable access to
downtown restaurants, hotels, shops and nightlife.
