Anderson School District Four
• Riverside Middle School won the South Carolina ASCD
Whole Child School Award.
• Anderson Four Elementary Robotics Team placed in the
top five and won the Sportsmanship Award at the AIT VEX IQ
Robotics Scrimmage.

Anderson School District Five
• North Pointe Elementary School: Palmetto’s Finest
School 2024.
• McCants Middle School: Palmetto’s Finest Finalist 2025.

Specialized Educational Centers
• Anderson Career & Technology Center serves students from
Districts One and Two.
• Anderson Institute of Technology serves students from
Districts Three, Four, and Five.
Private and Alternative Education
Anderson County is home to several private and parochial
schools, including St. Joseph’s Catholic School, Oakwood
Christian Academy, and New Covenant School. The Montessori
School of Anderson offers an alternative approach to learning.
