Since 1958, Athens Technical College
has served citizens by providing
quality educational programs in an
11-county service area. The college
offers more than 130 program
specializations in business, health,
technical, and manufacturing-related
areas. Students attend Athens
Technical College on four campuses
(Athens-Clarke, Elbert, Greene,
Walton), plus career academies, adult
learning centers, through business and
industry, and continuing education
opportunities. Athens Technical

The University of North Georgia
(UNG), with nearly 20,000 students
on five campuses and online, is one
of the state’s largest public
universities. The University offers
more than 100 programs, including
certificates, associate’s, bachelor’s,
and master’s degrees, and
professional doctoral programs.
UNG is one of six senior military
colleges in the United States and is

UNG’s Oconee Campus combines

students, the Oconee Campus gives

Students can experience college life
on the Oconee Campus through the
University of Georgia dual enrollment program, which allows
them to earn college credit while still
