Transportation Options Get Products to Market.

The Blue Ridge Connector is under
construction – a 104-acre Northeast
Georgia Inland Port near Gainesville is
opening in 2026. This newest inland port will
provide a direct link to the Port of Savannah
via Norfolk Southern rail service. The port will
offset 600 roundtrip highway miles for every
container moved by rail.

Blairsville Municipal Airport (KDZJ) is
operated by the City of Blairsville. The
5,000-ft.-long runway accommodates most
general aviation aircraft, including small jets.
The FAA Level III airport is at an elevation of
1,907 feet above sea level and is served by a
fixed base operator that provides a terminal
with a pilot briefing area, Wi-Fi, showers, and
