local Habitat for Humanity and the Georgia
Mountain Food Bank which always need
volunteers and appreciate your support.
Also there is the Ferst Foundation for
Childhood Literacy, Joshua’s Warriors, and
Healing Hands Community Clinic.
Animal rescue and rehabilitation
services in Union County are strong.
Volunteer or donate to the Humane
Society’s Mountain Shelter, Whiskers Project,
and Castoff Pet Rescue for adoption, foster,
