RIGHT: Jekyll Island
is home to stores that provide day-to-day services for island
residents and guests.
The Shops at Sea Island shopping center is farther north
on the island and is anchored by the Harris Teeter grocery
store. The center, which is at the St. Simons Island end of
the Sea Island Causeway, is home to upscale restaurants and
shops that serve as the perfect place for a date night. The
Georgia Theatre Company headquarters are there along with
a movie theater. Across Sea Island Road from the Shops at
Sea Island are more restaurants and locally owned, high-end
shops that you will find as you drive north on Frederica Road.

THE BEACH VILLAGE
The Beach Village is a terrific mix of restaurants, a grocery
store, and specialty shops. There are some restaurants with
beach views and hotels like The Westin and Jekyll Ocean
Club that provide direct access to the beach and the village.
Restaurants and hotels frequently feature live entertainment.
The village is adjacent to the Jekyll Island Convention
Center and is the perfect place to grab lunch at your
next conference.
THE ISLAND
Outside of The Beach Village, there are dining options
ranging from pub fare to fine dining at hotels and resorts
throughout the island. The historic Jekyll Island Club Hotel,
The Westin, and the Holiday Inn Resort all feature several
options. Full-service restaurants for any occasion are also at
the Hampton Inn & Suites, Villas by the Sea, the Jekyll Ocean
Club, and the Jekyll Island Golf Club. The historic Jekyll Wharf
and Zachry’s Riverhouse at the Jekyll Harbor Marina offer
riverfront dining at its best. Families delight in Summer Waves
water park and its incredible waterslides.
