Morganton
Morganton is the county seat of Burke County.
Downtown restaurants, galleries, shops, parks, and a
movie theater make the city a vibrant social hub. The
Historic Courthouse Square hosts free Friday night
concerts in spring/summer, and CoMMA, the City of
Morganton Municipal Auditorium, offers world-class
performances and theater productions year-round.

Connelly Springs
Connelly Springs is between Hickory and Morganton
in the eastern part of the County. The natural beauty
surrounding the small community includes the South
Mountains, The Blue Ridge Mountains of North
Carolina, Table Rock, Lake James, and The Catawba
River Valley.

Drexel
The Town of Drexel, at the foot of the Blue Ridge
Downtown Mountains, offers beautiful natural scenery, a
Morganton peaceful small-town vibe and shorter access to
Asheville and Charlotte.
Glen Alpine
