Kershaw County has thousands of acres of
parks, public lands and other natural areas. This
mobile-friendly, digital guide highlights the best
places for hiking, paddling and cycling in parks and
natural areas throughout the county. In addition, the
guide highlights major Kershaw County attractions

Hermitage Farm Shooting Sports
Learn or hone your skills while you enjoy the sport of shooting. Sporting clays
course, skeet shooting area, wobble trap and 5 stands provide a wide-range
of shooting sport activities. Lessons are available by appointment. Gun rentals

Powderkegg Wildlife Preserve
The Preserve, located in Cassatt, has three ponds, dams, road systems
throughout the thousand acres, a residence lodge, fish camp, out buildings, deer
stands & condo deer stands, stall stable, jumping arena, dressage arena and
fencing, gazebo and arched bridge. Gazebo Island is available as a site rental and
overnight retreat lodging allows guests to escape to nature and enjoy the serenity
of the Preserve. Guests may ride the perimeter, or the miles of trails with their own

White Pines Golf Course Camden Country Club
The 18-hole “White Pines” course at the White Camden Country Club is considered
Pines Golf Course facility in Camden features one of South Carolina’s distinguished
6,373 yards of golf from the longest. The par 72 private clubs. This Donald Ross-
course rating is 69.4 and it has a slope rating of designed 18 hole championship
115 on Bermuda grass. White Pines golf course course is one of the top 25 courses
opened in 1985. The short layout has 3 sets in the state. For information on
