successful model that is a fit for the needs of
their community.”
While much of the face-to-face activity of the
Collaborative was put on hold in 2020, CCEC
continued to monitor the performance indicators
prescribed in the operational model and supported
the Community Foundation of West Georgia and
the school systems for various initiatives responding
to community barriers such as student hunger,
food deserts, unemployment, and homelessness.
The collective partnerships and executive team

“This effort would not be possible without the
involvement and support of our Education
Collaborative partners,” stated Crutchfield. “The
education collaboratives are all about building
strong communities by focusing on student success.
As we continue our work together, we remain
constantly mindful of this focus.”
