engineers, and other professionals.

Southern Wesleyan University
Founded in 1906, the main campus of Southern
Wesleyan University (SWU) is on 350 acres
in Central, SC. SWU is a private, non-profit
Christian institution where inventive learning
and transformative experiences happen through a
faith-filled community. SWU offers more than
40 on-campus programs, 18 athletic teams that
compete in NCAA Division II: Conference
Carolinas, and 15+ student clubs and organizations,
including intramural sports, service clubs, academic
clubs, and student government.
SWU also offers accredited online bachelor’s,
master’s, and doctoral degree programs, and was
recently ranked No. 2 “Best Online College in
South Carolina” by EDSmart. SWU has been
named in the top 25 percent of “Transfer-Friendly
Colleges” by Phi Theta Kappa and named a
“Military Friendly School” by VIQTORY.
