Lifestyle with greenway access

A new mixed-use development, named Halcyon, is being
constructed directly off Georgia Highway 400’s Exit 12 on
McFarland Parkway. With a grand opening set for fall 2017,
Halcyon’s commercial village will include a movie or entertainment
venue, gourmet market, outdoor outfitter, up to 10 local and
regional full-service and fast-casual restaurants, a boutique fitness
club and service retail, office space, and two hotels.

For-sale residences will include 87 single-family units and 155
townhomes with prices starting in the high $400s. A set of 448
luxury apartments appeal to all ages, from boomers to millennials.

More than 3,600 Forsyth County residents will live within a
½-mile walk of Halcyon’s commercial village. A new Trailhead
Welcome Center for Forsyth’s Big Creek Greenway, a 9.6-mile paved
recreation trail and linear park, is also planned.

By the end of 2017, Halcyon will have invested $370 million
in new capital investment in Forsyth County. At the time of
publication Halcyon was considered one of the largest mixed-use
developments under construction in metro Atlanta.

Halcyon’s residential component is targeting all ages and demo-
graphics who want a walkable community with jobs, retail, enter-
tainment and Big Creek Greenway without getting in their cars.
