The Dawson County Public Health
Department offers various health services
to residents, some on a sliding scale fee
basis. Services include immunizations,
well baby checkups, WIC program, child
health physicals, hearing, vision and
dental screenings, scoliosis screening,
women’s health, cholesterol and
diabetic screening, hemoglobin checks,
blood pressure checks, lab tests with
doctor’s order, STD screenings and HIV/
tuberculosis testing.
