                        Brookhaven has the distinction of being the first community in Georgia designed around a golf course
                            and with many of the original pine trees retained. The Brookhaven Historic District is on the
                       U.S. National Register of Historic Places. This is DeKalb’s largest city, stretching across 12 square miles.
