First Academy
First Academy is a ministry of First
Baptist Church, enrolling students for
preschool, elementary, and middle
grades. First Academy added eighth
grade for the 2018-2019 school
year with approved plans to continue
expanding the middle school,
eventually adding the high school.
First Academy is fully accredited
with quality by the Georgia Accrediting
Commission with a curriculum that
aligns with state and national standards.
Students consistently perform above
national standards of achievement, with
most students scoring multiple grade
levels higher. Intimate class sizes allow for
individual attention and room to excel.
First Academy offers a weekly
chapel service, Bible, art, music,
athletics, and other extra-curricular
activities. The school is a member of
the Georgia Independent Christian
Athletic Association (GICAA), allowing
students to compete in athletics and
fine arts events.
