                                                                                  The cost of living in Coffee County is
                                                                               incredibly reasonable – nearly 25% lower
                                                                               than the U.S. average. A major reason for this
                                                                               is our housing costs, which are less than half
                                                                               the U.S. average. This means your dollars
                                                                               stretch so much farther than in other parts of
                                                                               the country. For example, you can purchase
                                                                               a well-appointed, three-bedroom, 2,300
                                                                               square-foot ranch on a sizeable, manicured
                                                                               lot for less than $300,000.
                                                                                  Of the nearly 15,000 occupied housing
                                                                               units in Coffee County, 59% are single-family
                                                                               homes and 7.9% are apartment units.

                                                                                    surface fires without high intensity.
