Stage Door Players
The non-profit Dunwoody Fine Art
Association (DFAA) is another avenue for
creative expression in Dunwoody. Member
artists are encouraged to practice and
exhibit their art while supporting each
other in creativity and self-expression
through lectures, critiques, and workshops.
The DFAA has a plein air group that paints
locally as weather permits, and many standing
exhibits and regional shows. For more

Dunwoody’s own professional theater,
Stage Door Players, attracts audiences
from all over the metro area and is in their
46th season. With an intimate 125-seat QUALITY OF LIFE
theater, there are no bad seats in the
house. Stage Door Players features six
plays each season with some of Atlanta’s
top theater professionals. The theater has
been the recipient of two Suzi Bass Awards
– Atlanta’s version of the Tony Award.
