Driver’s License

New Georgia residents must apply for a
driver’s license within 30 days of moving
into the state. The Georgia Department
of Driver Services’ Customer Service
Centers can transfer an out-of-state
license to a Georgia license. The Georgia
Department of Driver Services issues
driver’s licenses for all residents of Georgia
with appropriate identification. Please visit

the Department will accept. In-person
services require an appointment. For more

The DeKalb County Voter Registration &
Elections Office handles voter registration
for all DeKalb County residents. You must
be registered to vote at least 30 days
prior to an election to cast a ballot in that
