known as DeKalb Medical, joined Emory
Healthcare in 2018 and has a medical
staff of nearly 750 physicians in 55
specialties (including 112 of Atlanta
Magazine’s Top Doctors for 2020). It
is a full-service hospital with centers
of excellence in surgical weight loss,
joint replacement and orthopaedics.
Its cancer program is accredited by the
Commission on Cancer and the National
