the Perimeter area will increase the
geographic reach of the Dunwoody
MARTA station. The City also plans
to make the stretch of Chamblee-
Dunwoody Road between I-285
and North Shallowford Road more
pedestrian and bike friendly.
Dunwoody provides more than
132,000 jobs within a three-mile radius.
The Atlanta Regional Commission
anticipates growth of 1.5 million new
jobs in the next 30 years, of which
Dunwoody will absorb many.

Key projects include:
• The Georgia Department of Economic
Development (GDEcD) announced
that German multinational liner
shipping company Hapag-Lloyd will
invest $18 million in its new North
American headquarters in Dunwoody,
creating an additional 250 jobs in
our region.
• Transportation Insight, LLC
is moving its headquarters and
1,200-member staff in 2023 to
Dunwoody from Hickory, North
Carolina. It is buying companies in
the Atlanta sector including Spend
Management Experts, Platinum
Circle Technologies, and Nolan
Transportation Group, and will
employ hundreds more.
• Adjacent to the Dunwoody MARTA
station is Campus 244, the
Intersection of Perimeter Center Parkway and Goldkist Road modernization of the former Gold
Kist headquarters into a multi-use,
