             Welcome to Fayetteville and Cumberland County,
             North Carolina! This region, which encompasses nine cities and towns as well as
             Fort Bragg, offers plenty of opportunities to stay active, engage your curiosities, and have
             fun. From spending time in the trees ziplining at ZipQuest Waterfall and Treetop Adventure,
             visiting the Rockefeller estate at Carvers Creek State Park, walking the picturesque Cape
             Fear River Trail, finding your way at Gallberry Corn Maze, or exploring the 77-acre Cape Fear
             Botanical Garden, this community has a range of activities and fun.

             History buffs will find plenty to praise about this region. Visit the Old Bluff Church in Wade
             to learn its storied history, stop by the U.S. Army Airborne & Special Operations Museum
             to take in the history of the Airborne troops from Test Platoon to present day, wonder at
             the historical places of worship dotting the downtown region, or follow in the steps of the
             Marquis de Lafayette during his 1825 visit on the Lafayette Heritage Trail.

             The community boasts hundreds of free special events each year, including the Dogwood
             Festival and the International Folk Festival, an annual celebration held in historic downtown
             Fayetteville. More than 30 groups representing their nationalities typically participate in the
                                   colorful and fun Parade of Nations. Bring your appetite with you –
                                   the variety of cuisines and craft beers can only be rivaled by how
                                   delicious they are.
