fitness classes. The center also has a 2,000
square-foot wellness room and state-of

Hall County Parks & Leisure Services
provides and serves the citizens of the Hall
County community and surrounding area
with the amenities and resources needed
for a variety of recreational activities.
This county government department
offers 1,459 acres of park space, 24 parks,
three community centers, two dog parks,
historical sites, an RV park, walking trails,
green space, the 1996 Olympic Rowing
Venue, a world-class nine-field soccer
complex, a specially designed baseball field
for individuals with special needs and the
Chicopee Woods Agricultural Center.
North Hall Park includes the county’s
third community center, four baseball fields,
batting cages, a track and a multipurpose
field. Inside the community center, visitors
will find two gymnasiums, a fitness center,
meeting space, technology center, café
and activity rooms. Programs, events, room
rentals, and various memberships are
offered to the public through the
North Hall Community Center.
The department offers other activities,
which include: entertainment events at
Chicopee Woods Agricultural Center, such
as horse shows, dog shows, garden expo,
and the annual “Monster Truck” event;
nature trails and green space at Williams
Mill Park; camping at River Forks Park
on Lake Lanier; an extensive schedule of
athletics, classes, and special interest social
gatherings; and a full slate of activities for
Hall County’s older, active generation.
