On The Trail

Mile Detailed Trail Description

From the parking area, begin your hike by heading

0.0 towards the playground area. The sandy path and

trailhead is to the left of the playground.

0.2 Enter the woods, bear right and the trail begins to move
away from Adams Mill Pond.

0.4 The topography changes to a lusher forest with seldom
seen (in the Midlands) rhododendron.

Reach the most northern point of the trail. Trail curves to

0.8 the left and starts the loop return. Continue to mostly pine

and oak forest.

1.5 Return to open area (same as mile 0.2). Continue towards
playground area and community building.

1.7 End your hike.
