A strong business community begins with strong education, which is
why the Pickens County Chamber of Commerce Education and Workforce
Committee is dedicated to supporting students, Pickens County Schools, and
Chattahoochee Technical College to provide the best educational and career
opportunities possible. The committee meets monthly to discuss goals and
strategies to better improve educational opportunities and to promote lifelong
learning throughout the community.
Committee involvement includes collaboration with the School
Superintendent, the chair of the Board of Education, Chattahoochee Tech
board members, and the Chamber’s executive director and board members.
