Kirby-Quinton Cabin Marble Museum
This circa 1906 building features a Take a self-guided tour of the history of
marble front made from Pickens County Georgia marble at this museum, which is
marble and has a hanging gallows. open year-round, Monday-Friday 9 am-4 pm.
Open Saturdays from 10 am until 2 pm. 1985 Kennesaw Ave.
Next door is the Kirby-Quinton cabin, Nelson, GA 30151
built in the 1860s and furnished today 770-735-2211
in 19th-century furnishings.

The renovated 1948-era courthouse
was built from Pickens County’s own
quarried marble, and is listed in the
National Register of Historic Places.
