built with the help of a $400,000
block development grant, which
opened grounds near the old facility
in December 2008.
The 4,800 sq. ft.-building houses a
main activity room with the dining
room immediately adjacent; a heavy
residential kitchen that can easily
be upgraded to fully commercial
as the center’s needs warrant; the
director’s office; reading library and
computers. The facility also has a
crafts room, an exercise room, and a
woodworking shop.
