more than 400 of its 4,000 staff in Sandy Springs, and is
home for CEO Sprecher and his wife and ICE Senior Vice
President, Kelly Loeffler. In a speech before the Sandy
Springs/Perimeter Chamber, Sprecher said that when he
purchased his first company back in 1997, he gave the
staff the option of living in Los Angeles – where he was
then residing – or metro Atlanta. None voted to go west.
Sprecher added that he thought the metro area is
one of the best places in the country to do business
and Sandy Springs an amazing place for business
and to live. The Sandy Springs Perimeter Chamber of
Commerce would agree and the City is excited to have
the new owner of the NYSE in its midst.
