local hot spot is Flowery Branch’s
Main Street, where you’ll find
Whole Being Cafe, known for
Aits organic coffee, as well as a
variety of vegan options. Try their “brown
toast,” a slice of potato bread buttered and
smothered in cinnamon sugar then broiled
into a crispy sweet treat just like Grandma
used to make; it’s a must-try.
Caroline’s on Main is a new dining
experience from Chef Nicholas St. Clair. The
menu features standouts like beignets with
crème anglaise, fried chicken and bourbon
waffle, and a pimento cheese bacon burger
with seasoned fries. Don’t skip the cocktail
menu with more than typical brunch
mimosas. Drinks with handmade infused
syrups, local herbs, and honey round out the
dining experience. Our fave? The yummy
honey lavender lemon spritz mocktail.
