Orangeburg County
Towns in eastern Orangeburg County include
Bowman, Elloree, Eutawville, Holly Hill, Santee,
and Vance. Branchville, in western Orangeburg
County, has the Branchville Railroad Shrine and
Museum, the oldest railroad junction in the world.
Orangeburg is the county seat.
The Edisto River, flowing 250 miles from the
Carolina sandhills to the Atlantic Ocean, offers
