preservation and the arts, Wilkes
& History County has many ways for residents and
visitors to learn, experience, create and grow.
Galleries & Performance venues
Bleu Moon Productions
Bleu Moon Productions supports Wilkes
County tourism through stage productions,
and children’s, dessert and dinner theater
performances. The troupe’s most notable
annual performance, “Tom Dooley: A Wilkes
County Legend,” is held outdoors and
attracts an audience of Wilkes residents and
visitors from around the region.

The Stone Center for the Performing Arts
This state-of-the-art, 8,000-square-foot
performance center offers performance,
banquet, dance and meeting space for
WILKES HERITAGE MUSEUM Wilkes County public school students. The
Stone Center accommodates 280 people
in banquet-style seating and 560 people in
theater-style seating. Modern sound and
lighting systems provide a professional
presentation and training opportunities for
students. The Center also houses the Wilkes
County Hall of Fame, and the adjacent
Wilkes County Schools Central Office holds
a large art gallery displaying the work of
students in grades K-12.

The Walker Center
On the Wilkes campus of Wilkes Community
College, The Walker Center has a 1,130-seat
performing arts auditorium and 38,731
square feet of multi-purpose meeting space
used for management training, business
meetings, civic meetings and a variety of
cultural activities.
