Q As a telecommuter, you can work
from anywhere. Why did you
choose to live in White County?
A We moved to White County to help
take care of my husband’s parents.
They were elderly and needed full-
time care. I was able to work from
their house during that time.

Q What sets White County apart
from living in other North Georgia
mountain communities?
A Absolutely, the people! In addition, the
views of mountains are spectacular,
also the hiking trails, and we are
located in the middle of other
wonderful areas that are easily
accessible with a short drive.
Q What perks does telecommuting
and living in White County
provide you and your family?
A White County offers fiber optic
Internet where we live, which has
a high rate of up-time, therefore
allowing high productivity. Also,
there is less travel due to all of the
perks and conveniences we have
in White County, like restaurants,
shopping, pharmacies, grocery
stores, hiking, waterfalls, parks,
banks, doctors and, of course, the
local events.
