Talent Development Strategy
The vision of the strategy is to position the
Golden Isles as a top location for talent

development and attraction that supports
a growing and diverse set of industries. By
implementing a community-wide workforce

development strategy alongside the Golden Isles
Development Authority, we will align current and
future workforce needs, be inclusive of partners,
and maintain clear accountability.

The Chamber Foundation
The Brunswick-Golden Isles Chamber Foundation is
an innovative 501(c)(3) organization with the goal of

building the next generation workforce in Glynn County.
Tax deductible donations to the Foundation are used
to implement the University of Georgia’s Carl Vinson

Institute’s Workforce Development Study.

The Foundation creates scholarships to diversify
programming and help ensure Leadership Glynn and

Youth Leadership Glynn continue to grow and create the
next generation of Glynn County’s leaders. It also funds
a Teacher Externship, REACH Scholarships, and Golden
Isles Business Buddies.

The Foundation also opens the door for the Chamber
to obtain grants and other funding that will boost its
programs and mission to be the voice of the business
community in the Golden Isles.
