LAKE WATEREE

Lake Wateree is one of the greatest natural resources in Kershaw County. As one of
South Carolina’s oldest man-made lakes, Lake Wateree boasts 13,000 surface acres and
242 miles of shoreline. It is a year-round favorite for residents, campers, fishermen and
recreational boaters. Access to the west side of the lake is up Longtown Road from Lugoff
to River Road, and access to the east side is up S.C. 97 from Camden.
