LIBERTY HILL

Liberty Hill sits on a narrow
ridge with a view of four
counties. Grand homes dot
the idyllic countryside, one
of which was home to South
Carolina’s first millionaire,
Joseph Cunningham. Many
families residing in Liberty Hill
have lived there for years, and
many of their descendants still
live there. This tiny community
is located approximately 20
miles north of Camden on

BOYKIN

Boykin is a fun, unique
and charming crossroads
community. With a population
of about 200, Boykin is
where meal, grits and
brooms are made just as
they were 100-plus years
ago. In addition, the official
dog of South Carolina, the
Boykin Spaniel, came from
Boykin. This community is
nine miles south of Camden.
