students from Coweta’s three public high schools
the choice to take advanced career-technical
education programs, dual enroll and complete
significant post-secondary credentials from
West Georgia Technical College while in high
school, and practice their skills at internships at
more than 200 local employer work sites. CEC
is Georgia’s original career academy and has
helped replicate more than 35 career academies
across the state.

West Georgia Technical College is a leader
in technical and adult education and offers
more than 130 degree, diploma and certificate
programs in addition to adult basic education
and GED preparation courses. The college
also offers corporate training and continuing
