Toccoa River is stocked throughout
the year, up and downstream of Blue
Ridge. Access, however, is limited to
three parks on the tailwater section
for individuals without watercraft.
Upstream of the lake, anglers will
find much more public access on
the Toccoa and its feeder tributaries
such as Rock Creek, Noontootla
Creek, and Cooper Creek. Each
of these smaller tributaries holds • NORTH GA TROUT FISHING •
populations of stocked and wild
trout that provide an easier fishing
experience for visitors.
Dahlonega
Dahlonega is a great destination
for anglers looking for a good middle
ground in the center of North Georgia.
Anglers here can reach either
side of North Georgia within
an hour’s drive from
