Georgia has long been a favorite Hollywood destination. Now, Assembly Atlanta, Director of Events

only 12 minutes from Dunwoody, is ready to take movies and TV shows to the next
level. Located on the former General Motors Assembly Plant in Doraville, the 135-acre
studio has 22 sound stages and multiple exterior locations to mimic major U.S. cities
and European scenery.
A full-service studio, Assembly Atlanta has props, costumes, and make-up, so
filmmakers have everything they need in one place. Up to ten projects can be filmed
at the same time in these enormous spaces.
The studio also plans to host the public. When completed, a park and amphitheater
will welcome guests for events and give an up-close view of where movie

The studio will create thousands of job opportunities by attracting major film
productions and stimulate the local economy through increased tourism, hospitality,
