Dunwoody is a strong, connected
community with a responsive
government and engaged citizens.
Incorporated on December 1, 2008, the City of Dunwoody
is celebrating its 10th anniversary providing quality support and
services to its citizens.
Dunwoody residents elect a mayor and six city council
members to four-year terms on a nonpartisan ballot. The Mayor
and Council enact City ordinances, appropriate funds to conduct
city business, and provide policy direction to the city manager
and administrative staff.

received $1.2 million in federal funding
to upgrade and expand traffic signal
communications. The results are
less traffic congestion and improved
pedestrian and road safety.
