Chamber Initiatives
Winners received recognition and
cash prizes. Finalists were invited to
Washington, D.C., in the fall to compete in
the national championship.
Last year, the Fayette Chamber was
one of only two in Georgia to participate
in the effort, in cooperation with the
U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation.
Participation is a priority for the
Fayette Chamber.
“We believe that
informed and active
citizens make for a
strong country, a strong
economy, and a strong
workforce, and that our
continued prosperity
depends on the
2024 Pitch Contest
strength of all three.“
“Through the Bee, we are promoting
greater civic knowledge in Georgia and
celebrating our civic pride,” said Chamber
President Leonardo McClarty.
Inclusive Economic Summit
Designed to engage communities
that may have been marginalized or not
as involved, last year, Henry and Clayton
Chambers joined with Fayette for the
“STRONGER TOGETHER” function. A
diverse agenda for the 2025 Inclusive
Economic Summit includes learning the
many dimensions of diversity, fostering
trusted relationships, leveraging
shared values and business goals.
Topics covering inclusivity’s impact on
profitability and productivity and how
growing diversity benefits the regional
economy are among agenda items. The
Fayette Chamber will announce the
location and date of this year’s event.
