Education
Recognized for years among the best in Georgia, Fayette
County schools enjoy consistently high rankings – important to
Fayette parents and students. Fayette County Public Schools
(FCPS) currently rank in the top five statewide.
Fayette offers “private school level education for public school
cost,” according to Vanderslice.
FCPS’s new Center of Innovation, opened in partnership with
Southern Crescent Technical College (SCTC), solidifies the priority
the county places on education.
