and Learns with select physicians at
some of the county’s largest employers,
Piedmont Fayette also participates in
health fairs, 5Ks, and flu shot clinics.
“The needs of this community are
wide ranging and diverse,” said Steve
Porter, CEO of Piedmont Fayette Hospital.
“I’m proud of the work we do alongside
our partners in the community to
positively impact the health and
wellness of local citizens.”
One example of these successful
partnerships is the Ladies Night Out event
held each year at the Women’s Imaging
Center at Piedmont Fayette for county
employees. The center remains open and
staffed after hours for up to 25 preventive
mammograms, while the group from the
county gathers and learns about breast
