At its urgent care locations throughout
the county, Piedmont Fayette also
serves occupational health needs
through a team solely focused on
workplace-specific medical needs and
care. This covers Workman’s Comp,
on-the-job injuries, and other immediate
workplace medical needs.
Peachtree City-based manufacturer
Rinnai is one of the Fayette County
corporations that partners with Piedmont
Fayette. While every company values the
health and wellness of its workforce, it’s
part of Rinnai’s brand promise of “Creating
a healthier way of living®.”
“We host health fairs and conduct
screenings, especially during (health
insurance) open enrollment,” Muh said.
“We’ve done vaccine clinics, flu shot
clinics for them.” A free benefit to Rinnai
employees, Muh said the idea is to provide
both health information and services.
Education covers a breadth of
health topics from nutrition to heart
health to a focus on specifics like Skin
Cancer Awareness month and even
smoking cessation.
As a non-profit entity, Piedmont Fayette
Hospital is required by the Internal
Revenue Service (IRS) to conduct a
Community Needs Assessment (CNA)
every three years. The detailed study
identifies Fayette County’s greatest
healthcare needs, which would include the
needs of the Fayette workforce. Having
Wound Care Education
just completed the CNA for 2026-2028,
