CELEBRATING 50 YEARS
Joann Pope Elliott, owner and general manager
of Ball & Que restaurant in Georgetown,
moved from Johnsonville, S.C. to Georgetown
when she married. The restaurant opened in
1968 and Joann became the owner in 1970. Here
she shares the restaurant’s 50 years under her ownership
and what makes it a success.
Q: What has made Ball and Que so successful in Georgetown?
A: We build a relationship with our customers and provide a
family friendly atmosphere with great food at a great price.
