Lakeview is committed to the personal
growth and academic development of the
college-bound student. The school offers a
rigorous curriculum, highlighted by Advanced
Placement and honors courses. Students
choose from a variety of electives, and foreign
language is taught in every grade. Technology
is integrated into every discipline, with 6th
through 12th grade students using their own
laptops. While Lakeview’s students are offered
the opportunity to excel at a higher level,
an academic support program is offered to
students at all grade levels when extra help is
needed. The Class of 2015, comprised
of 54 students, was offered $2.63 million in
non-HOPE scholarships and had 100 percent
college placement.
More than 75 percent of Lakeview’s middle
and upper school students participate in at
least one school-sponsored sport as well as a
fine arts activity. Transportation is available.

Lanier Christian Academy

Lanier Christian Academy, the result of
a merger of North Georgia Christian School
and Heritage Academy in 2016, provides
an academically excellent, biblically based
education for K-12 students. The fully
accredited program through SACS and ACSI
prepares students not only mentally, but also
physically, socially, and spiritually for college
and beyond. LCA will be housed at the
Chestnut Mountain Campus until the
school is moved to the new site on
Poplar Springs Road.
