The University of North Georgia is a

UNG is the state’s seventh-largest public
university. The university offers more
than 100 programs of study ranging from
certificates and associate degrees to

Lanier Technical College is proud to serve
Hall County and Northeast Georgia through
providing world-class credit programs,
outstanding customized industry training,
and exceptional adult education programs.
Nestled between the pristine shores of Lake
Lanier and the beautiful North Georgia
Mountains, Lanier Technical College is the
“go-to” training partner for Banks, Barrow,
Dawson, Forsyth, Hall, Jackson, and Lumpkin
counties. For the past two years, Lanier
Technical College was among the nation’s
fastest growing two-year colleges. Lanier Tech
has been recognized as Georgia’s Technical
College of the Year.
Lanier Technical College offers more
than 100 different credit programs in more
than 40 different areas, and it is home
to Georgia’s only Motorsports Vehicle
Technology program. Lanier Tech is also
one of a small number of colleges across
the nation to provide programs in Electrical
Utility Technology. You can find graduates
from Lanier Tech’s credit programs working in
settings as diverse as NASA’s Kennedy Space
Center to racing pit crews.
The Economic Development programs
offered at Lanier Technical College are among
the premier in the state. The Advanced
Manufacturing Technology Center, located
on Lanier Tech’s main campus in Gainesville,
offers companies across the state customized
training using the very latest in automated
