Helen is a non-profit member organization
specializing in providing art education to the
community. The center operates primarily by
the aid of volunteers and has an art gallery
and gift shop filled with artwork made
exclusively by local artisans.
The center offers a variety of year-round art
classes, hosts five arts & crafts festivals each
year, has its own fully operational pottery
studio, and is the only organization of its
kind in Georgia to offer art workshops at no
cost to military veterans throughout the year.
The gallery serves many area artists through its
sale of art and is common ground for artists
seeking a quiet and relaxed place to master
their skills and share interests and ideas with
fellow working artisans.
