Cheer the Wilkes County Moonshiners in their second
summer season of collegiate wood bat baseball!
The new team owners leading the excitement are Daniel and
Charlene Ward, and Drew and Lindsay Ward. “If these names
sound familiar around the diamond, it is because this family
has been tied to organized baseball in Wilkes County for over
50 years,” said Daniel Ward, Moonshiners executive director.
Part of the Old North State League, the Wilkes County
Moonshiners have 24 home games beginning May 24, 2025
through July 19, followed by the playoffs.
