Blue Ridge Music Trails of North Carolina
honors traditional music that is part of the
fabric of community life. Ballads are sung as
they were hundreds of years ago. Fiddlers,
banjo players, and other musicians play from
porches to stages and keep the music alive.
The definitive guidebook for seeking these
musical experiences is updated by the Blue
Ridge National Heritage Area Partnership and
the North Carolina Arts Council, a division of
the North Carolina Department of Cultural
        Resources. Learn more: blueridgemusicnc.com
