First Baptist Church of St. Simons Island is actively seeking a Senior Pastor who nurtures
congregational growth through Christ-centered preaching and teaching, collaborative leadership,
responsive congregational care, and focused missions and outreach.
Based on significant input from our congregation and staff, as well as support from the
Center For Healthy Churches, we believe the following attributes represent the primary ministry
responsibilities and characteristics we are seeking in our next Pastor, Shepherd, Leader.

• Speaks to both the churched and unchurched and calls congregation to live more Christlike
