Children’s Ministries

FBCSSI welcomes and provides opportunities and programs for infants and children through the fifth
grade. Activities and lessons are planned to develop and encourage faith formations and spiritual growth.
The Children’s ministry has a strong nucleus and ministers to children by loving and nurturing teachers. A
nursery is provided for infants.
We want to be a place:
• Where children can feel they belong
• Where children form nurturing relationships
• Where adults model the Christian faith
• Where children learn and grow spiritually
Children at FBCSSI participate in a variety of ministries including:
• Weekly Lesson during worship service
• Sunday School classes/Wednesday Bible Studies and Missions
• Wednesday evening graded choirs
• Vacation Bible School
• Outside activities (including field trips, pool parties, craft events)
• Kids Night In/Parents Night Out
• Seasonal Events

Youth Ministry

Recognizing that adolescent years are full of growth and change, FBCSSI
embraces teenagers as a vital part of our church life. With the assistance of
dedicated parents and adult volunteers, FBCSSI actively engages middle
school and high school students by providing ministries that include:
• Sunday School
• Mid-Week Bible Studies
• Community Outreach Projects
• Mission Opportunities
• Field Trips
• Concerts
• Fellowship Gatherings
We desire to be a place where teenagers are welcomed and encouraged to
know Christ and grow in their walk with Him.
